Lekha is the Director of Vidya Institute of Performing Arts. She has trained and produced dancers who have excelled in the examinations conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Board of Education. She has trained over 50 students in the art of dancing in the last five years. Currently around 25 students of varying ages are undergoing training in Bharatanatyam.
